Meet the Team

Dr. Danny Sarubin graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1994. He then completed a hospital residency and then Fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Integrating medicine and dentistry is Dr. Danny’s passion.

It is his belief that too many dentists deliver “tooth” treatment to their patients without a full understanding of the patient as a whole. Often healthcare is focused on “the last domino to fall”. Rarely do Doctors today take the time to try to find out why situations occur, thus leading to an endless cycle of treatment and retreatment.

Dr. Danny enjoys comprehensive and complex treatment. He uses the latest technology to offer his patients the widest range of options and deliver the highest quality of care. His areas of particular interest are cosmetic dentistry, and placing and restoring dental implants. Dr. Danny has been helping to straighten teeth with Invisalign for 20 years and is a Gold Plus provider. He also enjoys treating people with sleep issues any/or sleep apnea, and TMJ disorders.

Hiking and Kayaking, and cheering on the Ravens are some of Dr. Danny’s favorite pastimes. He enjoys traveling, particularly to Charleston to see his two kids.

Dr Todd Sarubin graduated from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1985. He then completed a year long general practice residency program at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
Dr. Todd enjoys all forms dentistry. Specifically, Dr. Todd likes performing sedation dentistry, tooth replacement with implants, Invisalign, cosmetics, and the treatment of snoring and sleep apnea. Since the start of his career, the treatment of medically and intellectually challenged patients, both young and old has always been a passion and priority for Dr. Todd.

My name is Betsey and I have been a Dental Hygienist at Sarubin Family Dental for over 30 years. I attended Baltimore City Community College and graduated with my Associates of Science in Dental Hygiene. While at BCCC, I was the President of the Student American Hygiene Association. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 children and 2 dogs.

My name is Sam and I started with Sarubin Family Dental in 2020. I grew up in St. Mary’s county and got my degree in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University in 2017. One of my favorite things about being a hygienist is getting to build relationships with my patients. I hope to make a positive impact on all of the patients that I see. Outside of the office, I like to spend time with my family, my fiancé Grant and our 4 year old pitbull Lucy.

My name is Carren. I am a Dental Assistant here at Sarubin Family Dental. I have been with the practice since March of 2019, and I have been working in the dental field for over 4 years. I love being able to apply my knowledge and skills to the care of a patient. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my two kids, Matthew and Madelynn.
Fun Fact: You aren’t seeing double in the office, Carrie is my twin sister!

My name is Windy I have been a dental assistant at Sarubin Family Dental for over 30 years. What I love about my job is getting to interact and form relationships with our patients. I have two handsome sons and four grandchildren that I enjoy spending time with. Fun fact: I am a cat person with two beautiful cats, named Snowball and Chloe.

My name is Lena and I have been a Dental Assistant at Sarubin Family Dental for 15 years. It is my passion to make patients feel welcome and comfortable at the practice. In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my loved ones!

My name is Tabitha, I am the Treatment Coordinator at Sarubin Family Dental. I have been with the Sarubin team since January of 2002. My goal is to help assist you with treatment goals and answer any questions you have. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping. Fun Fact: I was a wedding videographer for over 10 years!

My name is Wendy and I am a Patient Coordinator here at Sarubin Family Dental. I joined the team in October of 2018 after working in the medical field for 3 years. I enjoy meeting new people and helping them with their dental journey. When I am not helping patients, you can find me with my husband and two labs, Trooper and Medic.
Fun Fact: I was a ski instructor at Sugarloaf Mountain for over 10 years!
